GUAP [@guapmag] wins Best Publication of the Year at the YMB Awards [@youngmusicboss]
Last night we celebrated the first ever YMB Awards and, after coming away with Best Publication of the Year 2017, the GUAP team is still buzzing.
What a great night of awards and performers in front of a lively crowd.
Hosted by the talented Amanda Star, the awards were presented in three sections and the audience were treated to five live music performances. Stand out performers were Jo Joey and Nipah. Despite starting later than planned and tackling a few minor technical difficulties, the YMB team pulled it off and should feel proud of the success they have achieved in their first year.
We mustn't forget that what makes these awards special is that it is a chance for the rising stars of the under 30's to shine. The nominees and winners are all the future of the music industry and if the selection of talent is anything to go by, what a bright future it will be.
DJ P Montana came away with two awards, Radio Personality of the Year and DJ of the Year, and Radar Radio won best Radio Station of the Year.
